On 14 -25 March 2017, the workshop for secretaries was held with the theme taken from 2 Corinthians 3:3, “Be a Christ Letter in Serving Others”.

Sr. Walburga Ballhausen, Secretary General from Rome, who, with her known enthusiasm facilitated the workshop.  She asked the participants to reflect on their service, which is a call from God. The ministry entrusted to us is a response to God’s call to love as CPS missionaries; it is a service for the Lord, the Church and our Congregation. We are called to be prayerful, serve lovingly, be present, be available and be ready to enlarge the space of our tent.  

Together we dealt with the Spirituality of a Secretary and with the Specific Functions and Tasks of the Secretary. We then shared our work experiences and reports from the different provinces/regions.

The workshop was indeed very enriching and it refreshed our knowledge as secretaries and motivated us to continue in our ministry. Even the non-Secretaries among us, were happy to broaden their knowledge in communication and administrative skills. They appreciated the secretarial tasks and felt inspired and ready to take up the Secretarial Ministry.
